Hello Riverchart forum users.

In June the forum was updated to the latest software & a few things have been added,
as well as changed around.
While doing all the above things a few " buttons " were overlooked & some people
were not able to post as they were in the past. That problem was fixed & so far
everything seems to working fine.

Data from the Corps for Aug.2009 charts are ready for anyone wanting to update & more
updates will follow every month ( I see major updates coming in Sept - Oct time
frame )

The Corps is working on updating the bridge clearance data to include the Ohio river
& other rivers by the end of 2009. ( updated once an hour )

The Ceact software will have an update coming out in the next 30 days & is already
2.1 ready for the new charts coming out from NOAA & The Corps.

The Cairo Hwy Bridge on the Ohio river 980.4 now has the FAA lighting working on top
to help see the bridge outline. The lighting is steady red that is line with the
piers.

Cincinnati Area now has a repeater to help traffic in the bridges. To use the repeater
go to ch #20 not 20a. the repeater can be used from 8 mile creek ( mile 455 ) to
North Bend ( mile 485 ) Please keep in mind to use Ch13 as your main call as not all
boats know about the repeater still & will take some time before everyone starts to
use it.

As a reminder to everyone the forum look can be changed by going to the bottom of
the main page & on the Left side where the default is paper style.
